FEATURES AVAILABLE TO REGISTERED USERS & TIPS ON SEARCHING- Category search -- [new feature] select from a three-level hierarcy of topics.
- Advanced search -- offers search windows for word and phrases, topics, and contributors.
- Larger image - in the normal thumbnail view you can select a combination of rows/columns (eg 4x3) to fit your screen. To enlarge a thumbnail, simply click on it or the magnfying icon to its right. This enlargement (also called ‘intermediate’ or ‘zoom’ - apx 450x450) includes a more detailed caption
(when available) and important information on copyright and available
rights. NB: the zoom window can be resized by clicking in the bottom RH corner and draging to increase width or height to suit ... or by clicking on the enlarge-window icon in its top-right corner. You may download this watermarked (but still low-resolution) version for ‘positioning’ etc.
- Selections - gather your own selections of images (called ‘lightboxes’) and return to them later.
- Ordering - order high-resolution versions (usally at 300 dpi) of images by adding them to a ‘shopping basket’
